Welcome to the NorthernStar Kennels website. We are a family run competitive sled dog racing kennel. We  have an average of 50 adult Alaskan Huskies and breed 2-4 litters a year. We live with our dogs 24/ 7, 365 days a year. Our dog kennel is in our front yard and we wouldn't have it any other way.  We also have five permanent house dogs with many visitors from the dog yard rotating in and out. 

Our focus with our dogs is always working towards the Best -  the best care, the best food, the best training, and always working towards being the best team we can possibly be. We are constantly learning from our dogs  and learning about our dogs. Everyday is a learning curve. Somedays have steeper curves than others, but each one keeps us coming back for  more. We hope you enjoy learning about us, our dogs, and our mushing lifestyle.
