Our one and a half hour tour, the NorthernStar Adventure Fun Run, is a great introduction to the exciting world of dog sledding. As with all of our tours, the two hour tour starts with an introductory talk about the sport of dog mushing, the dogs, the traditional history of dog mushing to the peoples of Canada, the equipment we use as well as a safety talk. We are always happy to continue with more in depth information and answers to questions during the tour as well. After meeting at our Cottonwood Roadhouse, we will introduce you to your team of dogs and then begin the ride in our meadow next to the Cottonwood River and proceed to a 5 mile trail winding through the Cottonwood and Pine trees on our picturesque property. We will arrive at our turn around area along the Cottonwood River, a beautiful spot for pictures of you and your dog team. We will then return through the trees, finishing at the Roadhouse. The Roadhouse is also the home to our Dog Mushing Museum where we invite you to look at the exhibits and learn more about the history of dog mushing in the Cariboo.

Tours are offered at 9:30 AM, 12:00 noon, and 2:30 PM. 
Cost is $150 per person.
