NorthernStar Kennels is proud to offer dog boarding services to the community of Yellowknife. We have been selling straw and food to the community for years and found there was a great demand for boarding in the area , especially  for larger dogs. So we decided to help fill a void. We have been having a great time with our boarders, both large and small. We know how difficult it can be to find someone to trust with the care of our dogs. With that in mind, we feel honored to be entrusted with the care of your canine companions and it is not lightly that we accept the responsibility for your dogs. We care for them as if they were our own while they are here with us.  They receive quality food, individual attention, their own houses, and lots of play time with other dogs, and with our kids as well. We invite you to come and check out the kennel and think of us when you travel needs can't include Fido.  We accept all breeds of dogs in the summer months but will only take Northern breeds during the winter months.
