We are a competitve racing kennel of Alaskan huskies. We compete in all aspects of our sport , from limited class sprint racing, to long distance races such as The Iditarod. We are always striving to become better at anything and everything that has to do with the dogs. We are always trying to learn more, attending dog mushing symposiums and talking constantly with other mushers. We are involved in helping others just starting out in mushing as they and our youth are the future of the sport. This Fall, Kate is mentoring a great young lady Alice, age 11, from here in Yellowknife. 

We have chosen to breed our own dogs, responsibly of course. We have a very planned breeding program. We feel it is important to know everything that a pup experiences from birth, their socialization, nutrition, vet care, and training are paramount to us. Raising puppies is not an undertaking to be taken lightly. It is very time consuming but the rewards are infinite as you watch the young awkward pups turn into amazingly successful sled dogs. Plus, it is so much fun!

Our focus this season is on the Iditarod. Warren completed the 2006 Iditarod, finishing with twelve health dogs. His first running was for both he and the dogs to learn the trail. This year we are approacing the Iditarod more competitively, so be sure to follow us on our journey.
