At age 17, Sam has already become an accomplished musher winning a gold medal Ulu at the 2006 Arctic Winter Games in Kenai, Alaska in March of 2006. Sam has been on training runs with Warren since he was a toddler and on the runners since his first race at age 5. As Sam matures, his involvement with the kennel increases each year. We look forward to his greater involvement with the training of the dogs.

Last year Sam participated in the Mail Run 2010 and had a blast and hopes to spend more time on the runners this season.
