So, here we are near the end of April, still running dogs on the lakes, and planning next seasons' race schedule.
We have two major news items to report... can you say Quest and Iditarod??
That's right, we are doing the double header next season, the absolute ultimate in the sport of distance mushing. I have just finished making flight arrangements to Anchorage for the Iditarod June 28 sign up. There is a bit of strategy involved in that. I would prefer an early start time for the race. My bib numbers have been 40  in 2006 and last year Bib 44. OK start numbers but I'd like to start even earlier as it would fit into my race schedule better.
Over 2000 miles of racing to take place only 1 week apart. It is a task not many have undertaken. We have the team members in place to make it happen! We have an aggressive plan and feel we have enough depth in the kennel to better last years performance.
We will be soliciting help from sponsors. Those who have been part of our team, we hope you will continue to be, and for those that we approach...  jump aboard the train its going to be a great ride!
