Well that is the last of the logistics that we have control of for the two big races this year.
After doing our Quest vet check on Saturday moring we spent the rest of the day packing the Iditarod food drops.

So now Iditarod food drops are done and loaded onto Jaques and Magalis truck ready to be delivered to Fairbanks on the 16th of February.
It is always a relief to get this done as it is one less thing to think about.
So here is some of the stuff we have sent out 
1000 lbs of First mate "Extreme, 
1000 lbs of Beef
600 lbs of fat
500 lbs of other meat 
30 sets of runner plastic
3000 booties( for the dogs feet)
dog coats, blankets
Great tasting human food supplied by M & M meat shops 


All together about 3500 lbs of supplies!

Being this is a team effort, Sam, Peter, Jesse, and our multi talented handler Annie ( who helped in all stages of readiness!) have all played a role in getting thigs ready for the races, Sam helping train dogs with me, and of course my right hand Kate, who keeps things rolling doing  pretty much everything.
Thanks to all who are a part of the team, you are very appreciated, and the help , both physically, mentally, and financially is a big boost!
