Friday February 13th The race schedule has been finalized , I guess I really need to pick for starting line up. We are lucky to have some very old friends here in Whitehorse, Mike Kenny formally of Rankin Inlet back in the late 70's where I grew up lives here in Whitehorse, and in addition, is involved with the race! with all the training we have done, we desperately needed some garage space to dry put my sled bag and sled, He hooked us up. There is something about the north So spread out, yet so friendly ! So the sled will get packed today a few last minute details to be worked out and an "official " Northernstar Kennel meeting " with handlers is also on the agenda.
