Skookum Brand Anoraks,

Our relationship with Skookum brand started this winter, just before the start of the Yukon Quest. Growing up in the north , on the barrenlands of the Keewatin region of Nunavut, I know how important you clothing is, I dearly missed the "home made parkas that  I used to ware that were designed by the Inuit , These are time tested designs , used by the hardiest people in the world , in the harshest enviorment.
I have been using for the last few seasons "made in Taiwan"  clothing that was ok  but the hoods never really fit right , the shoulders were "tight" .. etc.  the design that Skookum brand has developed is the traditional fit in the traditional style.
So when Meagen approched us, It was a no brainer I was pleased to endorse her products . I ended up using the Ivvavik style.
This a few additional features that I really like, such as the zippered ventalation undar the arms, and the large breast pocket.
They fit so that you can move , are warm, and light. Keep in mind they are not "Parkas" as parkas are though as bulky and combersome. Anoraks are light and  easy to ware. Thanks for keeping me warm meagen and thanks Skookum!
