Hello all,
There has been very little to report from the race this weekend as there were minimal updates as the majority of the race trail is in areas without cell coverage or internet. From what I have been able to find out, Warren placed 5th in the first and second stages of the race, unknown position for the third day, and a 4th place finish in today's leg. We do have the final results... Warren and the team came in 5th place overall. I have not heard anything about the trail conditions or weather. The majority of the race was run along the old mail route between Fort McMurray and Fort Chipewyan on the Athabaska River. This is the inaugural year of the race as part of the weeklong events for the Winter Play 2011 Events Wood Buffalo.

Our great friend Jeff Dinsdale went along with Warren for the race to be the driver and handler for the team and reports from his wife Margaret are that Jeff and Warren had a great time, are in good spirits and are already headed back on the drive home as I write.

As I learn more of the events of the last few days I will share them as will Warren when he returns home.
