We are heading into the last week of August. Although the dogs have been free run all summer, with the change in the weather, they are starting to get a little antsy.Formal training will be starting in the next few days.
We have 36 dogs 2 Y/O and up the will be training for the main race teams to compete in Yukon Quest and Iditarod. Some of the older dogs ( 5-6 Y/O) will run the quest only, and the Irod team will consist of generally a younger team. ( at least that's the plan now).

We will also have 16 yearlings that will be started as well . Lots of dogs to run!!  Noting that some of the dogs listed on the  sale list are in the group that will train  with the main team, they are all dogs that have run and trained on the main team in the past. They are really good dogs, experienced and very well trained.They are still for sale, contact us if you have an interest in leasing or buying dogs to race this season. 
We will also have a few of our very well bred yearlings for sale later in the fall as well.
